Akrapovič developed its Evolution Line Titanium exhaust system for the F90 BMW M5 to enhance the driving experience with added power and refined sound. An optional sound kit and carbon fiber components are available to complement the handcrafted carbon fiber tailpipes. These products can be found at Turn 14 Distribution, the sole U.S. and Canadian Automotive Distributor for Akrapovič.

The lightweight Evolution Line system is constructed of high-grade titanium with valve housings cast in Akrapovič's in-house foundry, saving a total of 20.8 lbs (32.6%) compared to the stock exhaust system. A direct fit onto the stock downpipes ensures a simple installation. The Evolution Line system improves the M5's entire powerband, delivering max torque gains of +15.7 lb-ft at 2,300 rpm and power gains of +11.1 hp at 5,700 rpm. The required tailpipes finish the system with an elegant touch, maintaining the lightweight construction of carbon fiber and titanium. 

To further enhance the visual effect of this system, Akrapovič created Carbon Fiber Rear Diffusers available in high gloss and matte finishes. The all-new design sets this diffuser apart from the standard piece, giving the BMW M5 a more aggressive appearance. Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps are also available in both finishes as a perfect accompaniment to the diffuser. Finally, the optional sound kit allows users to take full control of the exhaust valves, choosing between quiet mode and the sportier, more aggressive sound of open exhaust valves.
